Baby Taylor

Here's a picture of our beautiful baby Taylor, born June 8, 2009 at 12:39. I don't know why, but some people like to know her weight (though that's typically thought of as rude in our culture). She was 7 pounds 6 ounces and a short 19 inches tall.

Funny Little Boy

Today I took Ethan and Kaylee to McDonalds (or old macdonalds as Ethan calls it). Ethan was complaining that his hamburger had onion bits on it, so I took it and started pulling off the onions. I gave it back to him, and he examined it again, and found a few tiny specs of onion still, and told me to get them off. This happened a few times, and I was a little annoyed, and said, "Ethan, stop being so picky". Ethan quickly pointed out: "you're the picky one Dad. You keep picking onions out of my hamburger". I busted up laughing. What a funny kid.

Today Ethan started singing "xyz...now I know my A B D's". Funny, funny boy

Ethan at the Sand Dunes

After burying Ethan and Kaylee in the sand at Snow Canyon today, Ethan said, "hey, help me bury my shadow now". Me and Renee both busted up really good after that. It was very funny.

Ultrasound Appointment

I went with Renee to her ultrasound appointment today. We learned that we will be having a girl. It's pretty exciting. When Renee asked Ethan if he was excited to have a new baby sister, I heard him say.."Yeah, I want another one just like Kaylee". I was very happy to hear that. However, it turned out that Kaylee had been given an extra Oreo cookie, and he was referring to having another cookie just like Kaylee. Oh well...I'm sure he'll love his new baby sister.
