Oahu, May 9 2010
on our last day we went to Hanauma Bay and Pearl Harbor. Both incredible places. We were able to see a few of the things at Pearl Harbor. We made it to late to go to the USS Arizona memorial but saw what you could see above ground. We went to the USS Missouri battle ship and were able to do the tour. That ship is awesome. So big too. It was neat to see the spot where the japanese surrendered and see a part of history.
Hanauma Bay was a beautiful place to go too. We were able to go snorkeling there and see lots of fish. The life guards said the visibility was poor but you could still see lots of fish. I am a wimp when it comes to snorkeling. I am paranoid that something will "get" me so I was a little panicked while snorkeling which leads to exhaustion. It was still fun even though I was scared. Rob was fearless and went all over.
After we saw our last sights we headed to the airport for a redeye flight home only to arrive at 7 am and be thrown into the life a parenthood. Rob had to head out of town for work the day after we got back and life was back to normal. It was a wonderful trip. It was a slap in the face to come back to reality and be a mom of 3 little kids again. Taylor didnt even want to come to me for a short while after we got home. I felt horrible. Especially since I was gone for mothers day. I cried when I talked to them on the phone. I missed them. It is great to be back.

Oahu, May 8, 9 2010.
After we got off the ship we rented a car and went to Laie to the Temple and then to the Polynesian Cultural Center. That was an amazing place. You can spend the whole day there. The much of the temple grounds were closed for maintenance but we wandered where we could. It is beautiful.
The Polynesian Cultural Center was so fun. It was great to see different Island nation displays and shows. It was very entertaining. They all seemed to be so funny and easy going and enjoy what they do. We also got to see the "Ha Breath of Life" show. that was amazing. It is just a cool place to go. After the show we drove back to Honolulu for the night. It rained ton but it was awesome.
this is rob and i on the main staircase in the ship. You can tell that we both got a lot of sun that day. I got fried!! i only put on sunscreen once, because it rained a ton and it was more sunny that day and i didnt want to go home so "white." I paid the price. i hurt so bad but had nice lines.

Kauai, day 2.
On friday May 7, we only had half day on the Island so we had to be back on ship by 1 pm. We decided to just go to the beach. I loved this weather station that
was there. I
think i need
one. I might get to see a blue coconut. The cruise ship took us up around the Na Pali coast and we got an ocean view of the cliffs. It was raining and we were able to see a rainbow it was amazing. Our pictures dont do it justice.

Kauai, Na Pali Coast
May 6, 2010
After ziplining we decided to continue up the coast and ended up at the Trail you can hike along the Na Pali Coast. So we took to the trail. The total trail is 11 miles one way. we couldnt do that so we decided to try to make it to the first mark on the trail at this a beach 2 miles in. It was so pretty. It was a rough trail on the cliffs edge for much of it. We made it to the beach. It rained on us off and on the whole day but it was fun. A little scary when you were hiking on rocks and in mud and you could easily slip. But Rob and I enjoyed it. It was so lush and green. I just cant describe the beauty of Hawaii. There are so many things to see and do and all of it is so beautiful. It is just surreal it seems. The weather was great and the sights just wonderful.

Kauai May 6, 7 2010. Kauai was beautiful. It was rainy but still amazing to see. We were able to rent a car and drive up to the north side to Princeville Ranch to do a zip line course. It was amazing. The scenery was gorgeous, and ziplining was so much fun. We were over a beautiful canopy with a little river.
